Cookies

Proofstack uses cookies, which are small files, to record log data. Cookies come in two forms: session cookies that are deleted at the end of every Proofstack session and persistent cookies that remain until their expiration date or are otherwise deleted.

Cookies help us provide individual users with better experiences and also provide detailed information for ways to improve the site for all users. Cookies customize your experience and preferences, allow you to access and use the website without re-entering your member ID and password, understand which areas and features are most popular, and count visits.

We may also collect information using web beacons (also known as "tracking pixels"). Web beacons are electronic images (also called "gifs") that may be used on the website or in emails that help us to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon.

Cookies do not transmit personal information from your computer. Rather, they link your login with the information you have already provided Proofstack. Doing so helps us monitor things such as how often you visit the website, when you visit, what services you use, which pages you use most, and so forth. This information helps us understand how specific individuals use the website to improve their experience and, in aggregate and anonymously, how our customers use the website to improve the website for everyone.

Cookies are necessary to use the website. You will lose functionality if you set your browser to reject cookies. Proofstack also uses other services to collect similar information to improve site service and provide customers improved experiences. We integrate with third-party applications and services that also use cookies and other tracking devices. We do not have access to the information third-party companies collect or use. Use of these sites is determined by each company’s legal policies. For example, the information you choose to post on Facebook through Proofstack is governed by Facebook’s policies.
